Your information, and how we look after it

Who we are

Copperbrook Digital is a trading name of Khan Robert George Beebee ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: hello@copperbrook.co.uk, Flat 6, Westbourne Conservative Club, 6 Alum Chine Road, Bournemouth BH4 8DX. ICO registration: being completed.

What we collect

When you enquire: your name, business name, email, phone number (if given), your current website and what you tell us in your message.
When you're a customer: contact details, project details and content you give us, invoices and payment records (card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number), and our emails with you.
When we contact businesses: we may contact businesses we think we could help, using publicly listed business contact details, and only in ways UK law allows. You can ask us to stop at any time and we'll keep a note so we don't contact you again.

This website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't use analytics that identify you.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote (steps you've asked for before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
To deliver the work and care plan you've bought (contract).
To keep accounts and tax records (legal obligation).
To contact businesses about our services (legitimate interests, within the marketing rules in PECR).

AI tools

We use AI services to help us read and reply to enquiries and draft proposals. Your information may be processed by these services under a contract with us. They don't use it to train their models, and a person checks anything before it is sent to you. We don't make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects using automated processing alone.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business, each under a contract that protects your information:

Website hosting and form handling: Netlify (USA)
Email: Zoho (UK/EU data centre)
Card payments: Stripe
AI processing: Anthropic (USA)

Where information goes outside the UK, it's protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become work: 12 months, then deleted.
Customer records and invoices: 6 years after the end of the work, as required for tax.
"Don't contact me" requests: kept for as long as we market, so we honour them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it (including marketing, at any time) or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@copperbrook.co.uk and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
