Terms
Terms of business
Last updated: 26 October 2026. These are the main terms for working with us. Your quote sets out the specific work and price, and these terms apply to it. Copperbrook Digital is a trading name of Khan Robert George Beebee.
Quotes and payment
- Quotes are fixed for the work described and valid for 30 days.
- We ask for 50% to start and the balance when you've approved the finished work, before it goes live.
- Care plans are paid monthly in advance by card, starting the month after launch. Cancel with 30 days' notice; there's no minimum term.
- Extra work outside the quote is only done once you've agreed a price in writing.
Changes and approval
- Two rounds of changes at the design stage and two at the preview stage are included.
- You approve the work at each stage on your project page. Please check it carefully: approved stages are treated as final.
Your content and ownership
- You confirm you have the right to use the words, photos and logos you give us.
- Once you've paid in full, you own the website's design and content made for you, and your domain. We may reuse general code and know-how that isn't specific to you.
- We may show your site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
AI tools
- We agree with you what each tool does, what it says and when it hands over to you, and test it before it goes live.
- AI tools can occasionally make mistakes. They're set up to pass anything uncertain to you, and you remain responsible for your dealings with your customers.
- Usage costs are included in the monthly price up to the volume set out in your quote.
Cancelling
If you cancel a project after it has started, you pay for the work done so far; we'll refund any part of the deposit that covers work not yet done. If you're a consumer rather than a business, you have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations; if you ask us to start within that time, you pay for work done up to cancelling.
Liability
We'll do the work with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee, or for problems caused by third-party services (such as hosting providers or Google). Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you've paid us for it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Using this website
The content of this website is ours; please don't copy it without asking. We try to keep it accurate, but prices and services in your written quote take priority.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
